For WordPress, we recommend using the AdInserter plugin. Below, you'll find the few steps necessary for installing the plugin and integrating HBAgency technology.
Ad Inserter Plugin Installation:
-
Click on Plugins -> Add New. The following screen will appear. Type Ad Inserter. WordPress will show various results, including "Ad Inserter – Ad Manager & AdSense Ads." Click on "Install Now."
-
After installation, you can activate the plugin.
ADS.TXT Configuration:
-
You can download your ads.txt in the Inventory -> Sites section. By clicking on the "Onboarding procedure" button, you can download the ads.txt related to the site. Note that each site has a unique ads.txt file; if you manage multiple sites, make sure to use the correct ads.txt file.
-
From the WordPress control panel of your site, select "Settings -> Ad Inserter" to access the plugin settings.
-
Click on the ADS.TXT button.
-
Paste the previously copied ads.txt lines and click the green button to save the changes.
-
By navigating to your website at the URL https://WEBSITEURL/ads.txt, you should now be able to see the effect and correctness of the changes just made.
Script Installation:
-
From the WordPress control panel of your site, select "Settings -> Ad Inserter" to access the plugin settings.
-
Click the "Settings" button (gear icon), then select the header tab and paste the script. Select the arrow-indicated button to enable script insertion. Then select "Save settings" to confirm the changes.
Banner Insertion:
Some banners must be placed exactly where they want to be displayed. InArticle, Medium Rectangle, and Leaderboard fall into this category. Others, like magic banners (sticky left/right and floor), can be inserted anywhere on the page. Ad Inserter facilitates insertion management by providing predefined positions for placing banners.
-
In the "Inventory -> Placements" section of your dashboard, select the "Placement Code" button for the banner you want to insert.
-
A popup similar to the one shown below will appear. Click on "Copy Code."
-
From the WordPress control panel of your site, select "Settings -> Ad Inserter" to access the plugin settings.
-
Paste the copied code from your dashboard, then enable the insertion by selecting an option for the "Insertion" setting. In the example below, we are enabling the insertion of an InArticle banner in all posts, after the first paragraph of the article. To make the settings permanent, click "Save Settings."
-
The same process applies to inserting a magic banner. Since it is not necessary to specify a precise location, you can choose "Footer" as the position, being careful to select all available pages.
Note: Until you receive the site activation email, no ads will likely be displayed on your site. If you do not see ads after receiving the activation email, try clearing your browser cache. Refer to the following articles for more information.
